Unveiling Risha Chaurasia
Ever since the age of 3, I had a love for books. I spent the majority of my child hood with my nose in a novel. I could forget to eat but never forgot to read.
And it was this love of books, that helped me discover myself as a writer. I knew from a very young age that writing and books would always play an important part of my life.
My writing journey began at the age of 8, when I started off by writing plays. These would then go on to be performed in my school and were largely appreciated by the viewers.
However, I decided to take a dive into the commercial literary world at the age of 11, when I began writing my first novel Tales of Twinkling Tweens.
This got published on 16th May 2019, just 14 days after my 12th birthday.
This books is an extremely important milestone in my journey of being a writer. This book helped me find my calling and realize that I want to devote my life to literature.

6 months after the launch of Tales of Twinkling Tweens, I started work on my biggest and toughest writing project...my latest novel TRUCE.
Writing TRUCE challenged the writer in me as I explored into a genre I'd never written before. However I'm grateful for the journey.
I'm proud to say that writing TRUCE was the best decision I ever took. I grew as a writer, as a person, and as a friend while writing it.
And now, 57 weeks. 16 posts and 5 reels. 1 complete rewrite. And 3500 hours of hardwork later, TRUCE is finally here!!!! Go buy it on Amazon!

I am also a literary enthusiast and stark advocate for reading.

I also thought of trying my hands at activism and blogging, and thus started a blog on Instagram called Straight From My Pen.
I like to experiment with various writing styles and techniques. I’m never afraid to tackle any project or find new, creative ways to come up with something fresh and original.
